Cato's barn has been recently refurbished, so that it encapsulates both a modern feel without losing the essence of what makes a building like this so special.
The ground floor has a fully kitted brand new kitchen, perfect for cooking those family meals and there is a large dining room perfect for such entertaining adjoining it, where you can also sit on luxury sofas beside a woodburner fire and play board games.
We also have Ultra High Speed Internet of upto 300mbps download speed so should you need to WFH for a period of time then you can.
On the first floor you can sleep in 3 super king-size ensuite bedrooms. Typically we leave 2 as super-king doubles and 1 room as a single twin.
Please provide plenty of notice if you want it changed.
At the end of the first floor you can find a snug with a view to die for, where chapters of your book are just waiting to be read. Here there is also a king-size sofa bed, complete with superfast broadband and a large flat screen TV and complimentary Netflix to watch your favourite shows.

VINEYARD LOCATION
We are located on a vineyard and can offer informal wine tastings and tutoring in the Barn as well as provide wine, sparkling and sparkling rose for you to enjoy on your stay. All done in an uncondescending manner and you keep what is opened.
Priced at £15 per person or minimum cost £75
FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE
We are the James Family and have named our barn in memory of a special someone who passed away young. We are very friendly and are here to help should you need anything during your stay
(The chocolate lab is the Boss!)
FOOD PACKAGES
If you are looking to sample some of the incredible food & drink Herefordshire offers, then we can help. These can be added when booking.
Menus can be provided to tailor your hamper.
Wine and Sparkling can be added also.
Breakfast Packages will be left in the barn ready for arrival.
DOG POLICY
Unfortunately, we do not accept dogs.
We absolutely love our furry friends but we have our own, Maximus, who loves to mark his territory whenever others have been on site!
After many instances and lots of extra cleaning costs, we had to make this decision.

With acres upon acres of rolling hills surrounding the barn, we were spoilt with breathtaking views of the sunset each night as we sat in the hot tub with full bellies from the barbecue! The hosts, Jacob, Alex, Mark and Sam, were an absolute treat. They made our stay so special and they’re easily some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet! We indulged in a wine tasting experience, offered by the James family at a very good price, and spent the night learning all about the history of England’s vineyards and how Broadfield came to be - a story well worth asking for!! The barn was spotless and had everything we needed, from the comfiest beds to a log burning fire with wood provided. We couldn’t have wished for anything more, we loved it and can’t thank the hosts enough. We will be returning soon!!"

"We had an incredible stay at Catos barn! The place is absolutely stunning, only matched by the location. The barn conversion is beautifully done with lots of light and space and a picture window to take in the incredible views. It really is away from it all and so peaceful. The hot tub is a bonus, under an old oak tree. We sat out in it and watched the stars and milky way with no light pollution. We had young kids and there was plenty of space for them to enjoy and they loved the hot tub. Really it's the people that make the place and from Jacob's excellent communication and Alex' incredible welcome, kids and all (she lives in the adjacent house with hubby and dog) which includes a wine tasting session by request (a must!) the hospitality was amazing. "Amazing place to stay. The photos don't do it justice - the rolling countryside in the morning is absolutely gorgeous. The beds were soooo comfy, kitchen clean and had everything we needed and more. "Perfect location for a group of 6 girlfriends for a 30th birthday. Jacob & his mum Alex were the most amazing hosts. The barn was extremely clean and tidy with lots of space to lounge which was important for us, along with a huge dining table which made great seating for our big roast dinner. Kitchen was exceptionally equipped with everything you need and more. Lovely big fridge & freezer. Beds were super comfy with great quality linen. Cato’s Barn is an iconic AirBnB destination. Set in the idyllic countryside, everything from the vineyard to the hot tub screams understated luxury. We did the wine tasting with Alex - which we would absolutely recommend. Alex is warm and welcoming with a plethora of interesting stories. The barn was huge - so much bigger than anticipated with plenty of room to relax and unwind. In short, stop looking already and book this place!

We were a group of six, and we all felt that everything about Cato's Barn had been carefully considered for a 5 star luxurious stay. The location is beyond beautiful, and the hosts were wonderful and kind. We also did a wine tasting organised by the hosts, which we would all strongly recommend - it was the highlight of our trip!!! Amazing stay! Cato’s barn is located on a beautiful farm in Herefordshire which must be seen to appreciate the true beauty. The barn itself is a really big space with a lovely garden area with hot tub, the hosts are on site and on call to answer any queries.
